What We Do!
Assistive Technology Services
Evaluation: The evaluation of needs, including a functional evaluation, in the student’s classroom and school environment. The teacher, paraprofessionals, staff and parents are involved in the evaluation.
Providing Devices: Purchasing, fabricating, borrowing or otherwise providing assistive technology devices for the student.
Selecting, Repairing: Selecting, designing, fitting, customizing, adapting, applying, maintaining, repairing, or replacing of assistive technology devices.
Coordinating: Coordinating with other therapies, interventions, or services with assistive technology devices, such as those associated with existing education plans and programs.
Training and Technical Assistance - Student: Training or technical assistance for a student with disabilities, or where appropriate that student's family.
Training/Technical Assistance – Teachers/Staff/Family: Training or technical assistance for teachers, school staff, the student’s family, or other(s) who provide services to, employ, or are otherwise, substantially involved in the major life functions of students with disabilities.
